Pretty Flours was a well established business when I worked on creating the WordPress website. At the beginning of the pandemic, we migrated the website from Weebly to WordPress and created a brand new e-commerce store using WooCommerce.

This was at a time when in person events like fairs got cancelled one by one- the business was able to diversify from selling on Etsy and wholesale, to also adding an online store that increased DTC sales.

When choosing the best e-commerce platform for your online store, there are many things to keep in mind. In this case, design & a robust platform that can expand functionality as needed were important. Also, the ability to easily update the website after it is complete was essential.

For this project, I took care of:

  • Migration from Weebly to WordPress with WooCommerce
  • E-commerce component for an optimized shopping experience
  • Website re-design for an improved user experience
  • Integrated various premium extensions & newsletter software
  • Added Instagram & Facebook product tagging
  • Created video tutorials to teach various features of WordPress and WooCommerce.
